What do you do/what is your business?: Soel Studio is a photography company that specializes in artistic fashion and product photography. We think that every brand deserves photos that look like a work of art!
What or who inspires you the most?: Jason Lee Perry, Ruo Bing Li, Nicole Mason and Hugo Aldatz are a few photographers I'm inspired by at the moment, I highly suggest checking out their work! Jasmine Dowling is an amazing content creator that truly makes beautiful content. Lastly, Jules Acree's youtube is my constant go to for inspiration on staying organized!
What template did you purchase?: Gigi Rose
Why did you choose that particular template?: The Gigi Rose template really caught my eye because its beautiful simplicity and focus on imagery. I knew I wanted a template that I could add our bold brand colors to and it still be visually easy to look.
Why did you want a new website?: The website we had before needed an upgrade that really showcased our work. We wanted our website to be eye catching and fun to look through but also simple enough that it wasn't overwhelming to potential clients. We were really looking for a good balance of information and imagery.
Why did you choose to purchase one of our templates, rather than a competitors?: I spent a lot of time researching different templates from different companies. Big Cat Creative's templates stood out to me because they were unique compared to templates I was seeing on other websites. Soel Studio is also a start up company so I had a budget of around $200 to make my dream website. I was so impressed with how professional the Gigi Rose template was for only $197. I truly feel like I have a custom made website for such an amazing price.
How did you feel before you created your new website?: I felt completely stuck and unable how to best showcase my work and offerings to future clients.
How do you think your business is going to benefit from your new website?: I'm so proud to show it off now, I feel like my brand identity is complete with this website. I am getting compliments on it regularly and that's such a great feeling!
How did you find the whole Squarespace Template process from purchase to launch?: SO EASY. Seriously, I think I launched my website in less than 3 days from purchasing the template.
How do you feel now that you've launched your new site?: I feel like a weight is taken off of my shoulders and I can focus on other aspects of my business knowing that my website is doing it's job!
What's your fav series on Netflix right now?: Okay - this is on Apple TV but Loot is sooo cute and funny! If you love Maya Rudolph I suggest watching it immediately.
