MEET ERICA

CEO & lead day dreamer

Hi, I’m Erica. I’m a graphic designer and self-taught squarespace designer, fellow resourceful entrepreneur, Leo, and New Zealander. In my past (nine) lives I was a vet nurse and an outdoor adventure guide. And now, I’m the founder and creative mind behind Big Cat Creative.

For a while I made my living designing for small businesses, but I quickly realized that custom wasn’t actually a good option for new business owners—my favourite people to work with! I was frustrated on their behalf. I mean, they had to invest thousands of dollars only to be left with debt and a website they didn’t know how to use or update. I knew I needed to come up with something better.

I got to work creating an option that was affordable and easy to change, giving entrepreneurs complete control over their design. We launched Big Cat Creative in 2017 and we’ve been helping small biz owners DIY their websites with our wildly empowering Squarespace templates ever since!
