Squarespace Template Showcase: Be Brand Spanking You

Sarah is a modern brand builder (pretty much a brand magic-maker!) who serves the food and wellness industries.

She offers brand coaching packages, expertly-styled photography, AND in-person workshops. Long story short, she needed a website that would allow her to display her services and her deep experience without becoming muddled or confusing. Using our Luna template, she made it happen in a big way! Her site clearly highlights the extensive experience she has in her industry as well as the personal passion she has for it.

On top of her varied service offerings, Sarah is maintaining a blog and a freebie library through her site. It all flows together seamlessly, beautifully, and most importantly for her: On brand! Our Squarespace templates make it super simple to build the website of your dreams without dropping big money on a web designer.

Read the interview below to get to know more about Sarah, her business, and what the Squarespace template process was like for her! Then check out her website and see how she took our template and made it her own.

Template used: Luna

Name: Sarah Ehlinger

Website: bebrandspankingyou.com

What do you do/what is your business?: I empower food, health & wellness entrepreneurs to create remarkable brands and lives. I do this by teaching about branding and visual storytelling/ photography and by adding wellness + mindfulness lifestyle posts to my blog. I find entrepreneurs are always trying to strike that balance, so I like to offer things for both sides of the coin.

What or who inspires you the most?: Such a hard question to answer! As a creative, I'm inspired by so much. I think the 2 big running themes in my life have been nature and travel.

What template did you purchase?: I used the Luna Template

Why did you choose that particular template?: I actually didn't set out to use a template. I was looking around Pinterest and the internet for inspiration to update my site. When I came across this template, it just had so much of what I was looking for, I just knew I had to get it.

Why did you want a new website?: I was changing a lot of the communication and imagery around on my site and thought it would also be a good opportunity to really up the design too. I knew that once my copy and images were updated, I would inevitably want the design to be better too.

Why did you choose to purchase one of my templates, rather than a competitors?: Mostly because I just really liked the design of this template. I had never really considered buying a template before.

How did you feel before you created your new website?: I'm fairly proficient with Squarespace- or at least I thought I was- and was ready to DIY everything as I've done in the past.

Using this template taught me so many little tricks about SS that I didn't know though, (seriously, lots of "duh, why didn't I think of that!" moments) and made the process of redesigning SO much easier!

How do you feel now that you have launched your new site?: I'm doing a lot of blogging and content creation this year, and it's super inspiring to be able to send people to a site I'm really proud of.

How do you think your business is going to benefit from your new website?: I've been in the freelance/ entrepreneurial world for almost 10 years, but this business and site is still really new. I know from past experience that having a site like this will help me grow my traffic and email list faster- which is a good feeling since I'm basically starting from scratch!

How did you find the whole Squarespace Template process from purchase to launch?: I found it to be so easy. The videos were super helpful. I basically just put them on and followed everything to a T. Once I had everything in place, it allowed me the freedom to make little tweaks and put my creative stamp on things.

What's your fav series on Netflix right now?: Haha! My favorite Netflix series always is Peaky Blinders. I really enjoyed the second season of OA too!
