She took the Victoria Squarespace Template Kit and changed it into something completely unique, a stunning representation of her creative and personal style. This is such a great example of how you can take a template and totally change it to suite your business.

What do you do/what is your business?: I started my career 10 years ago as a wedding photographer, but have since branched into helping small businesses with professional branding photography. I found telling the stories of entrepreneurs and their companies so intriguing that I wanted to be able to help with more than just image— and Sandstone Creative was born. My new, more targeted branding company now not only encompasses photography, but also logo creation and website builds.
What or who inspires you the most?: The desert is generally my biggest source of inspiration— the big sky, the red sandstone rock formations, and the sense of feeling completely at home and at the exact same time, 100% alien on a martian landscape. The connectedness I feel in the desert allows me to decompress and get creative.
I'm also super inspired by anything and everything vintage (1960's through the early 80's), movie scores, and the incredibly motivated people I've met here in Boulder, CO.
What template did you purchase?: Victoria
Why did you choose that particular template?: It's modern, simple, and has a custom feel that I didn't know could be achievable on Squarespace.
Why did you want a new website?: While I always have had a photography website, this new venture of incorporating logos & website builds required me to create a new brand, and therefore a new website!
Why did you choose to purchase one of my templates, rather than a competitors?: For all the reasons. Big Cat Creative easily had the most chic, modern and professional designs I could find— especially for the price. Not only was I obsessed with the template, but I was also super excited to learn how such a look could be achieved. The videos are a huge added bonus, as every single template I'd ever purchased in the past (for my photography business) left you to figure out how to customize it all on your own.
How did you feel before you created your new website?: A little lost, to be honest. I had a certain vibe in mind for the look I wanted to create, but my more limited understanding of Squarespace never allowed me to achieve something that I felt completely proud of.
How do you feel now that you have launched your new site?: So. happy.
I love my site, and am really excited to share it with others. I feel like it really represents & conveys my style, which is so important when it comes to asking others to trust me with their branding vibes. I also feel more prepared to take on new business, as building my site with the help of BCC really educated me on some of the functionality of Squarespace that I had yet to learn.
How do you think your business is going to benefit from your new website?: I've always believed that presentation is everything, and that a professional website will help to earn you the credibility you want as a business owner.
How did you find the whole Squarespace Template process from purchase to launch?: Extremely organized and easy to understand. There was absolutely nothing about the process that I found confusing or lacking. I hope so much that I can direct more clients to Big Cat Creative, and then help them build out their sites one of these amazing templates.
What's your fav series on Netflix right now?: Queer Eye. <3 Anytime I'm feeling down, Jonathan's gorgeous self/personality cheer me up instantly.
